i came up whit a nice guild idea...
Ok, So it all started when some people in my guild started changing their guild status to offline and i noticed something like this:
The name i have listed in my guild roster is:
Furanshisuko kun
If im on another char like my ritualist his name is : Demianu toxophilite
And if i change my status to offline while im on my ritualist the name on the guild roster WILL remain as "Demianu toxophilite" and it will NOT show me as Furanshisuko kun.
If the name on the guild roster shows me as demianu toxophilite for more than a few minutes ( like 10mins i think) This means i AM online and it only means i changed my status to offline.
So now im re-inviting every guild member whit their main chars first name and the guild tag. ie:
Fura luxn
And then ginving them a prize for doing this, They dont really need to keep this chars , they could just make a pvp char and delete it.
I guess this could help other guilds and its quite cool to see a roster whit all the members whit the guild tag next to them, Aswell as keeping an eye on the people that are "offline" thanks for reading.
feel free to move this if needed.

the point is you would be able to see when some one is online or not and you would also be able to tell if they only changed their status to offline or if they actually are offline

It makes sense but is pointless. He's trying to say that, when you change to offline mode, the character you are on stays visible in the guild tab instead of the name you were invited on into the guild.
As I said, pointless.

If this is the case, then no. The offline status is for people who want to be perceived as offline with no differentiation between that and actually being logged off of GW.
Tell your guildies to use Do Not Disturb or Away. That's what those statuses are there for.

Nty, when I go offline its because I don't want people to know I'm online.
Crazy huh?

Or you could just talk in guild chat, and if the guy wants to listen to your drivel, he'll chat back. Or you could be like a real guild and use teamspeak or ventrilo. Or you could just play the game with people that want to interact.

meh, if u were to do this, it would be purely an aesthetic. if u wish to waste money paying people in ur guild to do this, have at it. although some people may not want to restart the amount of time they have spent with the guild.

That would defeat the entire purpose of being able to switch your status to offline...
Unless I'm missing something, in which case this idea is irrelevant.

Btw, thats not entirely true. What ACTUALLY happens is that the game shows the last name that person logged in whilst you were online UNTIL you log off.
It does NOT mean that they are set to offline, it just means that u were online when they logged off.
Your Idea has no purpose...
